Mark Hancock - PGA Professional
I took up the game at the age of 15 and turned professional in 1999.
Whilst my first jobs wereat Northenden Golf Club and then Kendal Golf Club, a 12 month break saw me travel round Australia. When I returned I became the assistant professional at Withington Golf Club. I soon moved back to his home club of Stand in Whitefield where he explored the playing side of the game winning 3 times in 2008. I tried to qualify for both the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour in South Africa shortly after.
Thereafter I was head assistant professional at Bolton Old Links GC. A stint at Cheadle Golf Club as head professional prepared me for another return to my home club as Head Professaional of Stand Golf Club.
